Any of you other trail owners think the front brakes are not really very good? I've had a few incidents where on hard, straight braking the front just dips and the bike doesn't seem very eager to stop. Scary!

My prev bikes have all had dual discs (Japanese) but I thought this time the (single) Brembos would be enough.

Does anyone have any ideas how to give them a bit more bite?

Thanks.

You could try putting it in the Trail section.... this is the Strada section

It would be wise to compare the trail with similar bikes, and not with double front disk Japs.

In any case the first and simplest thing for your breaks would be High Pressure Break Lines. (Taking forgranded that you use original Brembo Break pads).
