I registered 256kmh on the straight at Eastern creek on two seperate track days. Installed R&G front & rear frame sliders as well as MV front axle and MV rear bobbin sliders and my following two track days only managed 248kmh. Both occasions mirrors were removed. They give you the confidence to go faster but cost you down the straight.

Problems fitting?

R&G Rear= Right hand side needs 12mm spacer as thread is not long enough.

MV rear Bobbins= Bolt issued for left hand side does not take into account bottom chain guard. It is 15mm to short.

Thanks anyway AF1. I love after market parts! They get you to use every tool in your box and you still need a trip to the hardware shop, specialist bolt and nut joint and a visit to your baggy arse mate at the local welding shop (this was to adjust pitbull stand pickups so it would fit the new bobbins.)

All good now!

Just remembered I had a new set of track pants with knee sliders on the last 2 track days, maybe that added some wind resistance as well. Below is a picture before mods with a shagged M3 rear tyre.

I also have the R&G front sliders. I made my own set for the rear. I buy the delrin plastic in barstock by the foot, bore out the center and bolt them on. I also made duplicates of my R&G fronts. I have to send them into the machine shop to be turned down on a milling machine. I low sided at Beaver Run last October and they totally saved the right side of my bike. The sliders took the hit, the bike was saved except for a few fairing scratches, bent rear brake lever and a scuffed up exhaust can. I actually rode off the track and finished all the sessions that day. The sliders are worth the money!!
