Pics of Renthals, original end weights still used using long 6mm allen bolts and some rubber fuel hose with a nut to trap it and create a compression fitting.

Whats that on your tank - is it a GPS mount? I thought about putting mine there, but I ended making up a wee bracket and zip tying the cradle to that. It sits on the handle bar mount though, so the Renthall cross brace would get in the way.

What did you do about the locating lugs on the switchgear?

My handguards haven't turned up yet, so no photos yet...They left the parts warehouse over a week ago. I've raised a question with Aprilia that maybe some of their reputation for bad parts supply is down to the carrier - I received some indicators yesterday that left the warehouse on the 17th of last month.

Hi Panda, the bracket on the tank is from SW MOTECH it came off my bandit12 and its to fasten a tank bag to.They also do a multi purpose plate that clips to it for GPS video cams etc, it's really good kit, I had their pannier frames on the bandit and they came off with DZUS fasteners in seconds- i'm hoping they will eventually do them for pegs. Dremelled the switchgear tabs off and used insulation tape to pack bars, works a treat. I think it's Motohaus that does SW stuff so you should be able to get it ok if not let me know

I've seen the pannier fittings before, they're very neat. The tank bag thing looks like a good idea, my only concern would be the strength of the bolts holding it on?
