kk, I will get pics when I take delivery on the bike. My mom has an 8MP camera that will get some good pics. Hopefully I can get delivery on the bike before I leave for my parent's house for turkey dinner on friday. :)

The red tuono is ridered's. This was after we made a Tulsa run... So both bikes are pretty dirty.

The front part of the cans are now starting to turn purple too.
These pics were taken last Sunday. The MV had about 300 miles on it. It now has almost 700 miles on it.
I just got the bike back from the 600mi service today and I went from 600 to almost 700 tonight after work...lol

A few observations:
1. The mirrors are horrible. They buzz at certain RPMs so you can hear them while going down the highway. They vibrate so you really cant use them much.
2. The throttle really is sensitive at small throttle openings making slow turns an exercise in very fine throttle control.
3. The bike really is tiny (which I like) compared to a Tuono, and the ergos reminds me of a dirtbike.
4. The intake roar at full throttle is quite lovely to listen to.
5. Going down the highway, I am constantly trying to shift into 7th gear. The gearing seems to be geared lower than my Tuono with 15/42 gearing. Although I think it is just the sound of the engine that makes it seem that way.

The tuono is much more spread out, especially with clipons.
At 300 miles, I had a hard time with curves. I had to really push the bars to get it to remain cranked over... The bike just wanted to stand up.
At 700 miles it is really starting to handle curves nicely. I don't need to push the bars anywhere near like I did at 300 miles.

With moto bars this bike handles curves better than a Tuono set up the same. Although it cant beat a Tuono with clipons in curves. The front end has much more feel than the Tuono did (with stock bars) when cranked over in a curve.

It looks like I missed all the fun. That route looks like it was a blast. I did get all the shopping done so we are good to ride next week! How was the ride with the FZ1? That was my very first bike and i miss it alot, there is something about the carbed I4 that gave the bike alot of character.

i got to ride a 910 in 2005, i thought it was a neat bike. i always liked the 750 brutale, but the 910 is SO much better.

t1n0m3n I think I saw your bike in the shop the other day. I was there with a friend who picked up a new 1000 F4. If it wasn't your bike, it was identical. Beautiful machine! We went for a ride up to Stillwater Sunday and ate at Joes. It was supposed to be warm again but never got above 50. The F4 got pretty bad gas mileage, he had to stop and fill up in Perkins... He was thinking maybe 24 MPG???? I hope it gets better as it breaks in.

MV's are known for their bad gas mileage. Best I have had is 32. Worst is 24. Now as a comparison, worst on the Tuono is 29, best is 42.
However, I am still very low mileage, so I am not too good of an example still.

When Bud bought my Brutale, he like the color of mine so much that he bought another just like it. So what you saw was the 2nd one. The V-Max sitting up there is what I traded in on the Brutale.

'Bill" i was at Bauer when you rode up on your, which im guessing to be, mille with bar risers. You were riding with quite the choice bikes. Two monster's and a Duke, very cool!

Here is a pic of me and my S4rs and the new MV out in front of Joe's.. The Harley does a respectable job keeping up on our ~mostly~ straight roads. That is the guy with the Mille R/Tuono conversion on the HD.

Ahh so the s4 was yours:worship: I was oogling over that bike as well. Hows the testastretta in that frame? Or the monoblock Brembo's or the Ohlins or or...? Beautiful bike man!
