Sold my DiTech today....

My Ditech gets crated and shipped off to WA. I will be taking it apart to check it over, change anything Orange to Red and run it on the engine stand one last time.

This will be a bolt up / turn key engine.

2007 Aprilia Morini engine / transmission block , includes.

DJ.. I don't quite understand your question. It is shipping with the OEM rear variator, Delta Clutch and Malossi white TC spring.

I just met him, he's from WA State and not on the forum as far as I know.
He also wanted to know if I sold new SR50's with HGT tweaking.

I am considering taking his old engine back on trade to build another like I really have the time

Ah, with that enumeration of modified parts, seeing "rear variator" in there, I just assumed it was modified like the rest

I wasn't really wanting to but I got a call and the buyer wanted a built engine for his 06.
I don't have the time now to build another engine so I mentioned I had just finished this one before pulling it for the PFI swap. What he was really wanting was a new SR send to me for building but that creates the same problem, no time.

I wanted $2000.00 for it and got $2004.23 with the option to purchase back his old one after he swaps it out.

Cool... I can see engines coming in one door, and another one going out the other!

And a complete "turn-key" setup to boot! That's slick!

Is this something that has a future within your vision? I know it's time consuming, but by the same token, if you've got the time and have an engine on the shelf "ready to go", that has some appeal to many! It's a BIG time savings for anyone that doesn't want to wait.

I am so tapped for time right now and after doing the builds I have I keep putting in more time than I quote.... way more time but stick to my quote. This is one of those things that if I don't have the time to do it, it doesn't get done because I am not ready to hire someone to do my work.

One of the hardest things to do in any personally started business is to delegate your work to someone else.
