Arrow Need quick help with engine and with bore up gradge...

Hi, I got 2003 Aprilia SR50 De-Restricted with Leo Vince ZX and it's running very well but I will be looking for an bore up grade in couple of months and I need help choosing one, I want 70cc but I have no idea what bore will suit my engine, I think that I have Morini Liquid Cooled engine but I'm not 100% sure, how can I tell what engine I have and if I have Morini then would those bores work???

And what's the best stock engine Aprilia has used in SR50? there are like 3 different engines...

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum!

You may want to start with the Sticky “Read Me First!” In there you will find tons of very useful information including in the FAQ section the following picture that will help you to identify what engine your SR50 has.

Hi, I had a quick read and found up some kol mods that I might be doing soon but I still need help the the ECU and the 70cc Bore Kit, I got Morini Engine for sure.

The description says that this kit doesn't need new ECU but all threads I read said that ECU must be re-tuned if 70cc bore kit is installed...

So I'm lost now, can I use stock ECU and still have 70cc bore kit from Polini?

yes, if you go for the polini one, it has a pressure regulator instead of other ECU like malossi
but malossi is the best, the ECU that comes with it gives more oil and the it is made for 70 cc,
others can explain this better

So Malossi is better but Polini will work just as well on daily usage?

If so then I will go for Polini when my budget will allow me, thanks.
