Gotta look all rad at bike night, though, while striking the polio pose.

I just got nearly 6,000 miles from a pair of Pilot Road 2s that I expected to get 8,000 from. They were alright. If I go there again it will be with the PP2CT up front and the PR2 out the back.
I normally get about 5,000 miles from a PR2 rear, but then I'm left with a PR2 front with some remaining tread life when I replace the pair.

Last go around, I went with a PR2 rear and PP2CT front thinking they might get the same mileage. At just over 4,000 the front was shot, and the rear
still had some tread left.

So, instead of 5,000 I got only 4,000 from this pairing inflated to 34 front / 36 rear.

I just went back to two PR2's, though I really like the feel of the PP2CT front in the twisties. I almost bought a set of Angel ST's but they were a bit more
expensive than the Michelin's so I passed on them.... for now.

That's my story, and I'm sticking with it

There must be something in the front setup on my bike that gives me an awefull feeling if I run the front with 34 or less.

For the street I'm running 34 psi front and 36 psi rear cold. 120/70 and 190/50.

I was running Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's 120/70, 180/55, and 190/55. I had put a Pilot Pure on the front about 1000 miles (1600) ago. The Michelins were good, but I like the PDRCs much better.

Of course tire preference and feel is extremely subjective. BTW the Pirellis were on sale for $300 a pair installed.

very interesting.........about Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas (pirelli drive me nuts naming their tires.......your pressures sound many guys use to much air and the bikes wont settle down in a corner.......tire pressure and feel is extreemly important if you riide hard......tires are the first part of our suspension....

when you get more time on the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas.....i like to hear from you.......i was a big corsa III fan..........but now im into the dunlop Q2's......their wonderful.........the new pure one's are great also.

I also ran the Diablo Corsas on both my Falco(s), and Futura. If you really want to figure out what works well for pressure, take a road section (or better a track), and run just as hard as your tires allow. Stop. Check pressure. Your tire pressure should be low enough to get about 2-3 psi rise in the front and 3-4 psi rise in the rear. If not lower the pressure 2 psi and repeat. You need enough flex in the tires to allow the temp to come up to a nice operating temp.

On the track, my tire warmers were digital, so I could read the temp when I came off the track...usually about 140 F was working very well.

On the track my normal pressure was 28/30.

My mistake, I got 11,000 klms out of my rear Road Attack. But 8000 of that was with 60 kg hanging off the rear.

So not too bad I recon.

2 seasons ago I put a set of ContiSportAttacks on my Falco due to a recommendation from a buddy, who runs a shop. They've performed very well, wet and dry and I liked them better than my Pilot Powers and original Metzlers.

As I researched tires for my RSV recently, I found the attached comparison from PS Magazine, which rated B16s, Rossos, Dunlap, Metzler and the Michelin 2CTs.

Take a look, it is well worth the 3 mins it will take to pull up the link and review the info. Another thing I just found out is that the ContiSportAttack is installed from the factory on the BMW S 1000 RR (interesting tidbit).
