the aprilia rsv250 was the original factory bike. air intake on the right hand side and the carbs sit on the right side too for the ram air effect. it was an aprilia engine with a 54mm 54mm bore stroke. i have heard it was an aprilia manufactured engine. The rsw. the W stands for works and is now the factory works bike which contained carbon fiber bits. the rsv250 had carbon fiber body work. the rsvle i can only guess stands for limited edition. maybe the last edition before moving to the works edition.
