    TB Sync cylinder bias

    Revisiting this from previous threads.

04 RSV spec says that the front should equal the rear +/- 30mbar if I remember correctly. My bike idled like crap trying to achieve this (done via the AXONE). Mine is actually slightly biased toward the rear cylinder. Any of you guys know what your settings are?

Hopefully some of the forum superstars will help out here.

What should this be and why would we not be able to set it to spec?

Azren this has been mauled in the 04+ forum.

It is agreed that they do have different settings, why I can't remember & I'm not lookin either. It was a PCIII discusion & Scott2ride may have started the thread, although I can remember he got different settings for the pciii from front to back pot. I remember Scott saying it was well worth doing.

Come on man you don't think I've read every freaken thread with words "sync" "throttle" "body" in them? You think I think we're on an island here in the 06-07 Tuono forum?

I know they are different and the bikes generally prefer a biased front. My bike is currently biased toward the rear which is not common, I haven't seen it recomended, and is not to Aprilia specifications.

My bike idles like crap when setup properly and was trying to get some "intelligent" feedback as to why.

Yeah well wheelbarrowing has fourteen letters.

Big word but doesn't make it fancy, oh yeah, the answer is in the thread above if you do an advanced search like I just did. Sorry to tell you but your not unique. Sorry for trying to help.

What would help me is a link because I can't find anything referring to a rear cylinder bias.

I had my 1st gen Tuono set up with front bias and it ran markedly better than factory setting. Rear bias must be an abberance because the front cylinder gets the air first.

My 02 Mille was front biased as well. I'm not sure what's going on with the Tuono.
