I just joined. I put on there that I have a lift and tire changer available to any Aprilia owners. Maybe some guys touring can drop in for a tire change. It would be great to meet some more Aprilia owners.

Well it's definitely going to be a "collectable" in Australia. My dealer thinks that we only got about 60...

I guess the smart thing to do would be to identify where the most bikes were delivered and establish a relationship with a local dealer there for parts. In future everything will need to come from Italy as the Aprilia distributor will not hold parts on shelf for such a small number of out of production bikes.

The Futura was imported to USA late 2000 (2001 models) to 2005. They came in four colors: flame red, stream silver, blue, and black.

Total bikes imported to USA Averaged around 300/year for 2001-2003. 2004 and 2005 less were imported as the leftovers were sent for sale.

Sadly, the company(Italy) didn't see it sell as well in europe where the Capo style was more popular and sold in greater numbers.

I can't say how collectable but total built worldwide build is probably around 5000-6000.

I worked as national sales mgr and business development mgr for AUSA from 1999-2003 so the numbers are pretty close.
