Here are a few ikes from 2 weeks back. Futura was in for basic prep for trip to Utah for AMA...this included re-doing the stock connecto to the voltage reg with sodered joints since the stock connector was melted together.

The Tuono was a basic service. The Honda XR650R was one we built for doing a trans continental dirt trip for a special friend of the shop...see his work at www.tardypizza.com and the RSVR was a swingarm warranty as well as a dash warranty, The owner of the RSVR gave us two sets of stock exhausts as a thanks for getting done what his local dealer could not do in 4 months!

Tips are always appreciated and all personal donations to Micah go into my favorite charity fund. This is of course the Micah Wants a Ferrari 550 Maranello in Black Fund.

Ya...a webcam might be a bit too intrusive. I wouldn't want one myself.

Some step by step videos on how to remedy common issues would be awesome though.

Maybe a "bleed the rear brake" and "bleed the clutch" and "change the oil" and "fix the dash reset issue" and "replace brown connector" and "wheel alignment" and "de-restrict procedure" and common things like that.

ACTUALLY...you could make those and put them on a DVD and sell them at the online store! That would go a long way towards your Ferarri! Damn! I'm a genius! LOL

Keep up the good work! Fascinating stuff!

Fair enough. There's a fine line between entertainment and evidence.

I'm just tickled by whatever you post in this thread.

sounds like a Datatag - if it is there will be serial numbers etched into anything suitable - bodywork, mirrors, laquered chassis and engine parts. The Datatag kit also includes another chip roughly the size of a grain of rice that is injected into the seat foam or wiring harness. Whether anyone in the US would have the required scanner to detect and identify the tags serial is anyone's guess, but the police over here keep scanners to check stolen/recovered bikes.

Awesome, I guess that is what it is then. The bike did come over from the UK with a guy in the US Military who used it overseas.

Well today was pretty special guys. I built the first Tuono Factory in the USA. Pretty sweet! The Ohlins do for this more than I can possibly describe in words. The pics speak loundly but even they fall short of conveying the new "presence" of the AF1 Factory Tuono. This thing is downright ominous in person, the same sort of feeling you have when a Lamborghini Diablo pulls next to you at a light...a real and powerful presence.

I was too tired to test ride after doing this bike all day and then spending a couple of hours slaving away with Ed Junior and Senior on the dyno room. Those two and Steve deserve HUGE props on the construction effort for the new Dyno Cell. Every night we are all here pretty f-ing late but while I clean the shop and finish service jobs Junior, Senior and Steve are toiling away at this project and I help out when I can. What an undertaking and what a great job, once again mere words fall short.

Here is the Tuono "custom" before the "Facotry" mods today. Beautiful as it was, just wait for the next series of pics!

Oops, looks like she is going to get some new parts...This for instance is about 2.4mm from what I need right now...we did part a Factory chassis recently...hmm where are those parts? (It was basically a NEW bike never wrecked but without engine). If you want to do this mod a RSVR Factory lower triple tree is required!

As is the correct top stem nut...the smaller one is the new part for use with the Ohlins stuff.
