Todays personal hell. A newish Vespa ET2 with 23,000 miles...all stock. It has been to several shops in the Houston area but still leaked fuel and ran for only a few days at a time. Of course the required part is on intergalactic backorder so hopefully the Yamaha pet-chicken will arrive soon to cure the ills.

This was in the intake snorkel resting against the carb...that cannot be good right? This is someones attempt at tuning I guess, it worked fine for 23,000 miles so who am I to judge? It almost completely choked off the actual carb...much better now. Went from a 70 to a 77 main jet and all is good...and faster.

RZ Rob, I bookmarked your garage cam in my favorites, but last time I went to look at it it gave me a page unavailable deal.
For my money it doesn't get any better than when he sings, "When a man loves a woman". I celebrate his entire catalog.

That looks like somebody took one of those cheap ashtrays and drilled some holes in it!

This is a Tuono we are taking on trade. Another shop apparently used an impact gun to install the oil pressure switch. Every single thread was gone from the case/clutch cover. The stock switch is a .3-.6 bar 10mmX1.0mm thread. The exact same switch is used on BMW cars in a 20% larger size and threaded 12X1.50mm. It costs like $18. You can guess what happended next. Cover off, drill, hone, tap and clean. Looks like stock and uses the same connector. If your stock switch is leaking due to cracked threads in the case this will save you hundreds!

Here is the falco dash from last nights test ride. Only one side of the LCD was backlighted...pissed me off since I could not see the speedo. It turned out to be an easy 20 minute fix using all parts that were in stock thanks to Ed, Jon, Steve and Kirk. The bulbs had broken their elements in a minor crash.

Here is the board with the bulb socket visible:

Here is the little sucker up close with its little green effect latex cover for the pree 2001 bikes. There are two back lights on each LCD screen. They are the bulbs with the orange sockets.

Here is the NSR50 reed cage before and after porting...this makes a big gain in airflow into the case to smooth the transitions where air is at a very high velocity at less than 100% reed lift. Two stroke talk for make it look like this with no damage to the sealing surface and you get more frwaking power!
