in my experience, ported twin spark heads are almost the same than single plug head.

Same here. Dual spark heads, ported, with 38/33mm valves work very well. Wait till you see the professionally done heads I just got got back from porting shop. Fuck me, they took it up a notch! Can't wait to try those out. This last 1102cc build is a roadracing motor.

There is something going on with my pm notifications. They work fine on a my computers but my phone and I now use the phone so much for early morning and later evening surfing it is ridiculous. Will check in today Gabro.
The set of heads I just had done professionally are works of art. Here is to hoping the dyno and track agree. Both chambers cc's to identical specs, all ports flow matched to identical specs, all ports very reworked compared to what I would normally do, .4mm off bottom deck, Serdi full radius 1mm width intake seats and Serdi three angle exhaust seats also at 1mm width. My best previous gains from porting only on dual spark heads are right at ten bhp and on single it only 5 bhp that can be directly attributed to the porting. This will be a rather interesting test. The porting shop thinks I should see close to ten percent gain from the heads only...we shall see. This is not a street motor either, rather a track only 1102cc late model so big top end at the expense of bottom end is the goal. It will be fun to see what difference is made. Should end up running 06 Tuono intake cams on the hot side and 08 RSVR Intake cams on the cold side. Lobe centers are not decided yet but will probably be looking for intake closure at 56-60 degrees ABDC.
Anyone got a spare set of scratched up EVO6 headers or even a damaged Leo BIG system? I would really like to see 138-142 bhp on my dyno from this motor on gasoline. If required it can also be run on E85 for roughly 10-11% greater power yet. There are some seriously fast twins we race against so this motor is a countermeasure to ensure the old 04' RSVR can stay at the front of the grid and in people's thoughts at the track!

Thanks for the pics! Magic, Art, Wizardry? I like seeing how it all goes together. Mechanical stuff fascinates me but it is always hidden away lol.

Good god, 4am Florida time is brutal early, especially being east a time zone and back and hour this weekend. I hate waking up early, expecually what my body thinks is 2am. Be home later barring any technical difficulties.

Well good morning from the flight deck ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain, Berry Friendly, we got this little light on here in the cockpit that we need to have checked out, we need to head back to the gate, this shouldn't take too long.
Micah grumbles, "hold on, let get my tools out of the baggage compartment, I'll fix that sh!t 10 times faster then the ground crew."
While he figures a way to get one of those GE turbofans on his dyno.![]()
