San Diego Local Ride 10am Saturday-- south, up 79, Julian, Mesa Grande, etc

    Sportbike Ride, Saturday May 27th

We are leaving PROMPTLY at 10am to meet other riders enroute--- have enough gas (20 miles) to the first gas stop.

There are several legs and regroup points on this ride, so we have to leave on time.

At the end of the ride, those who would like to meet up for a bbq and hang out are welcome to come to my place in Normal Heights. I have equipment and supplies for washing your bike.

Saturday May 27th with a 10:00am "leave 'em for dead" departure
    Starting from James Foran's home
    4185 Arizona, San Diego

Well, it was an awesome day! Seven of us started out, three split off at the Lyons valley trading post break, and four of us kept riding to meet up with Gordon Gauge and his buddy Jeff on the SV650. What a day! It was great, we changed the ride a little bit and did Banner down to the store and back up. One of our guys crashed his CBR, went wide on a right hander and choose wisely to low side instead of launching off into the ravine. Bike and rider could still ride, so we continued after dusting off the willies and finished up around 4pm.

John, Jeff-- thanks for meeting us with us! It was great chasing you crazy guys up Sunrise and other roads!

    Let's ride again soon.

Good ride! Mandatory to repeat with maybe M.G. and Palomar thrown in for good measure. GG
