where to buy akro/aprilia pipe w/ chip?

I was reading some threads that there's an Akro/Aprilia pipe that comes with a chip. Where can I pick that up?
Most of the places I've seen that sell the pipes only sell the plain ol' Akro.

What Araihead said! E mail Ed at AF1 for good/fast service. Pipe is complete with correct chip, all hardware, chain guide instructions even new header gaskets!

I dont see the Aprilia/Akra pipe for the 2002-05 Tuono there, but Ed/AF1 can get it for you...They are Aprilia dealers now. The Akra/only pipes on that site do not come with anything other than pipes. (no chip etc).

I did see that AF1 has the Akro but not the Akro/Aprilia with the chip. I'll contact them and see if they can get me that one.
It sounds like the chip that comes with that is decent and if it ends up costing less than buying the Akro and FP chip that would be cool. Especially on a limited budget.

aprilia sells "akrapovic for aprilia" specially badged pipes direct from the factory via authirized aprilia dealers. they come with a special badge, a dedicated chip, and all hardware. the ti mono slip-on with race chip is by far the best bang for the buck.

AF1 was very helpful and I will definitely buy the package from here if that's the way I decide to go.
Before I pull the trigger I wanted to know if anybody has run this same setup and if it really helped in the midrange?
This is where I spend a lot of my time riding around at and I'd like it to pull harder than it does now.

I'm considering going the same route. If anyone has installed the Aprilia/Akra/chip combo what was the reading on the 'ol butt dyno? How was the midrange?

I bought the Akrapovic with the FP chip from AF1. These 2 items + the derestriction process = lots more power. The midrange hits with a nice gut-punch at about 6000. And much smoother too.

I recommend the Akra slip on and FP chip. If you get the Akra chip I'm sure you won't be disappointed either.

BTW the weight of the stock can is much more than I expected. Just the difference between the Akra slip on and the stock can is good for a substantial weight loss.

Do a search on the above thread title, DerbyBrit did a nice write up when he used this pipe/chip.
I like the system as well. There may be more power with a PC 3/custom map, but my Tuono has such good manners, runs so well I will not bother, just use the SBK chip and RIDE IT!

Call Scuderia west they offer the Akropovic with chip pkg and the price is very resonable.Get the air derestrictor from AF1 and ride like you want to.The power, the sound is awsome.

I got the aprilia akro pipe chip combo, it works well, however it is too rich to the point that on the top end one sees smoke of unburnt gas coming out of exhaust. I just ordered the factory pro chip ,hopefully this will work better. My dyno chart showed that with akro chip the bike was running to rich all over. My gas mileage was awfull.
