I'm in Charlotte and looking to get a Tuono! Hopefully I'll be officially added to the ranks by fall...

Congratulations man, you'll love the bike. Jealous of you living up there by all the good roads.

Btw, a lot of us are going to get together for a Aprilia bike meet by your area, here's the thread on that.

    Too many Aprila's

I have a hole/void in the head but the tumor is gone along with my memory

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional...

So it goes in the state that James L. Petigru, anti-secessionist and former South Carolina attorney general, long ago described as “too small to be a republic and too large to be an insane asylum.”

s/w charlotte here. know about the mountains, great day trips available for us.

years ago could get some speed fix in minutes from the place and not have to worry too much about cops etc. now the subdivisions have taken over and only place to break the speed limit is on the highways, and we all know that's no fun

looking for some quick spin routes closer to home, anyone recommend some areas?

I'm over in Stanley. Good roads in Lincoln and Gaston counties. Crowders mtn area is close for you too. Give me a shout if you ever want to do a ride after work. I am rarely ever home on the weekends March-Nov.
