Do the Intuitive sliders have a clearance problem on the left side? My fairing does not clear the slider, do i need to shave off some of the slider? Also, it seems like I need to ship out the left side, as it is smashed up against the frame.

Yes you need to cut out a notch on the left side. I used a dremel with a sanding wheel, made the perfect cut.
..the OD of the Intuitive slider is aproximately 44mm. Same as the Motovation ones. We've attempted to make them a bit smaller but could not do so without compromising the strength of the slider. FYI my 2002 Mille R did not require cutting although the slider was rubbing against the fairing edge a bit. However some bikes seem to need a bit of dremel work on the slider to make them fit perfectly.
As far as shipping out the left side, you probably won't need to unless you want the totally seamless fit look. It will not affect the functionality of the slider by leaving it as is.
Hope that helps.
I't nice to be able to ask a question before bed, and get the answer over moring coffee. If only everything in life were so simple.

for the longest time I just lived with the slight contact on the left fairing till it drove me nuts enough to dremel and clearance. whew.
also, I didn't have a long enough allen for the right side so I used the dremel on that one too and had a mille bris :p
I had to dremel both sides!!!!! The one thing that pissed me off is that they advertise that no cutting is needed!!!!! I would have bought the B&G ones on the forum for a few more bucks to save me the hassle.
