    Welcome Skippy

Bit late for the Pro's and con's now ..... your about to find out that its an underrated softly sprung bike.

    Good bits
Comfort, powerfull /smooth/ soft but solid engine, quality bits in stainless, handles, different, good pillon seat, I just want to ride it. Its Italian

    Bad bits
Softly sprung (wind up the suspension or your scraping pegs),need guards for rad/oil cooler, spoken nipples crode, naff fuel connector and iffy regulator connector (mine are Ok), delicate plastics, Its Italian

The item with widest view point is fuel consumption 33 to 50 plus ?
Scan the threads its will keep you busy for while (some even stay on topic as well ! ) while your waiting for your bike.

Do we need a sticky for newbie section (also include tips/ overview of the bike) ??? more the merrier !

    Northy
    Northy....

This is a space where I can put a witty one liner in or a quick summary of my bike mods ........................if I could be bothered

    Talking Congrats Skippy!!!

    Congrats!

The Capo is a very SOLID all around motorized ride that will last for years to come. You'll really like it. Well thought out and any issues can be solved by a weekend mechanic.

Am into my 3rd year with mine and like it more now than the day I bought it!

Be sure to post pics when you get it...we love pics!

and don't admit your capo is black which apparently is the fastest color. these guys cannot handle the truth. otherwise they're the best company you can possibly find yourself in. they will be very informative and gentle, if you only promise them not to wash the bike (speedy black won't be revealed), install 16t sprocket and ride not higher than on 3rd gear.

    Hi Skippy,

Welcome aboard, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased mine without a test ride and certainly have no regrets. Surf the forum, it contains a wealth of reliable information.

Just sat on one at the dealer near Christmas and again on the NY bike show in January. On the following week I bought mine, that was over 2y ago. No regrets, except...I should have it done long time before. Well, not too late, just over 19k of trouble free and happy miles.

What extras did you order Skippy ?

I would advise the complete (upper and lower) crash bars !!

Got mine since last march (6800miles) but Im waiting to see whether it will be written off or not

    Welcome Skippy

Worst part of a new capo is just that , when new they are really tight don't run well at low revs and the gearbox is tight . The bike you have after 5000 miles will be smooth and lovely so get some miles on it , they continue getting better and faster up to about 15000 miles .

Dont top up or even check oil unless you have ridden at least 5 miles , you will overfill it , and don't fill past 3/4 full

The high speed handlebar wag is solely due to tourance tyres , change them asap .
Exspert?? Ex = has been, spert = a drip under pressure.

Uh, my tourance tires have >12,000 miles on them and have NEVER wagged. Maybe someone got a bad set?
