The "Stay at my Place" thread

Following my recent trip the the USA and some fantastic hospitality from JCR, KATCH and Baddy, I was thinking about how a lot of folk on the forum like to travel, and how it would be cool if people with free space in their homes could maybe accomodate fellow members. A free bed for the duration of the visit would certainly reduce vacation costs for our friends.

So I'd like to be first in line to declare my home open to anybody who is visiting these shores. I can offer a double room and good food, free of charge to any forum members.

If anybody is able to follw me on this then just post here. Hopefully the forum moderators might be able to make this a sticky thread.

Well I would be more than happy to house someone for a few days....But, Im not home much, I bring home hot college chicks at all hours of the night and drink a fair bit of bourbon and Corona. I dont know if that sounds like a place I would like to stay.....

I'm still in my "dark years" financially but will soon be coming outta them. When I get a bigger house...my casa es tu casa

I always have a cot or sleeping mat availble for a real biker at my humble abode (Exduke ) though.

...and the Bud Light flows like a mountain stream!

I was quite surprised by his offer and do not be mistaken, I am thankful for the offer beyond words. He will even pick me up at BWI. He's a chauffeur too! <sniff>

He will even take me to the Triumph dealer (where the bike will be) where he is persona non grata. Well, he can keep his head down for that!

The Twinkie house does have a little used bedroom with a queen bed that could help save some money for that Vegas trip. And an enclosed garage to put the bikes. If I remove the truck, quite a few bikes.

I'm in LA. Have a spare room with a futon (and a fooseball table) in it.

I've had some visitors from the FZ1OA forum over. Why not some Falco-ites?

I'm actually afraid to say whether I have extra room or not. If I were to say that I DID have room, 30 seconds after I hit the "submit reply" button below, Falco03 would be ringing my doorbell with his suitcase in hand.

I like to say yes but there are a couple of caveats. We live out in the sticks in a two bed cottage. Problem 1 is that the second bedroom is sometimes occupied by 6’4” of brick shithouse which is our son so advance notice would be needed and the second is the brick shithouse’s bed is only a single so you can either be a singleton, like being VERY cosy or like sleeping on the floor for one of you.

Good news is the bike will be better looked after in a nice, heated, brick built garage
