    Who Makes 190/55 Tire?

I need new tires for my Factory, so I was thinking about going with the newer 190/55 size instead of the stock 180/55. I heard it's a good mix of both sizes, so I want to try it. So far, I've only found Pirelli's Diablo Super Corsas Pro SC has that size. I thought there were others, but I can't find any.

Does anyone here know of any other sport/track day tire that comes in the 190/55 size? Thanks!

    190/55

    Bridgestone BT001 or BT002.

I have tried both tires and they seem to work well.

Sport Rider claims the 06 ZX10R comes with a 190/55 Qualifier, but I've yet to find anything in Dunlop's literature which supports that size being made...

We've got a couple of new ZX10's on the floor where I work and they both have Dunlop qualifiers in a 190/55-17. I haven't figured out how to order them yet though.

Look on fische finder for the Kawi part #.

Fichefinder hasn't been updated to include the '06 ZX10. I found it through the dealer website though. They are currently backordered through Kawi. I'd like to be able to get them through PU or Tucker.

so, say you want to put more weight on the front of a tuono; is going to a 180/55 rear and 120/65 front from the stock tire size a good way to do it, or is it better raise the forks in the clamps?

I am reading mixed reviews, love it and hate it from the people who have gone to those sizes, although I am sure that setup has a lot to do with it. Subjective "feel" aside, what are the physics of it from a geometry and f/r weight bias perspective?

stick with the 120/70 front tire, the 120/65 doesnt really work on any bikes, the 180/55 is a great tire and would be my choice over the 190/50 tire, the 190/55 size is very new (only just out) as a 'street tire' but they have been the tire of choice for racers for a while, the race compounds just dont last very long on the street.

the biggest thing with the Tuono is to drop the front at LEAST 1 line probably 2 lines, the bike definitely needs more weight over the front end. raising the rear of the bike (rideheright) will also transfer more weight and give more swingarm angle (a good thing with all Aprilia's).

you could also lengthen the swingarm to transfer more weight to the front

As in more links on the chain? For the guys with real aggressive geometry (raised forks-tall shock) this would also help some with high speed stability too, would it not?
In theory, there is no difference between theory & practice. In practice, there is.
