    Standard carb setup

I was wondering which of the screws is the mixture, and which is the idle, on the standard carb.

Also, at what position should the mixture screw be? I probably knocked mine a bit when I was cleaning it out so I'd like to set my mind at rest a bit.

Idle seems to be fine, once warmed and with the choke off.

    Thanks, Geoff

    Hi Geoff

The mixutre is controlled by the needle & jets, there is no adjustment apart from the idle screw, which is "in" to increase and "out" to decrease. Idle speed should be 1250 +/- 100.

    Hope this helps.
