we're nearing completion. WE should get our final electrical inspection sometime next week, and then the final building inspection sometime shortly after that. Then, we can legally open all parts of the building to the public. We're stuck in the warehouse and parts room for now.
Since the last pictures, the showroom ceiling and lighting was installed. We drywalled the whole area over the parts counter and added recessed lights and more flouro fixtures. The showroom and offices are less than a week from finished. We got the three A/C units working, we also cleand them (they were nasty dirty). We also updated the electrical in several offices, and fixed all the electric garage door openers. A professional door comapny wanted $600 to fix just one opener. We fixed the others, and we got a new higher HP unit for less than $200, and installed it ourselves......works like a champ. We now just drive up in the morning and drive right in the front door, and park.
The color scheme is also finalized. White walls, and ceiling. Bright red trim and door frames. A very bright (contains metal) aluminum bottom color, and dark grey doors. Some of the white looks yellow in the pics, but that is just the lighting.
The hallways and bathroom all got black/white checker board tiles. Ted and Jon layed all the tile, they even went trick and put the bathrooms at 45 degrees to the hallway. The offices are getting a dark grey carpet once everything is done. The parts shelves are stocked, we have lots of OEM parts in stock now. The customer bathroom is all done. Looks allot nicer than the painted pink and green tile they had. The city made us widen the door to 36 inches and install an ADA toilet.
The shipping area is setup. And our Aprilia sign is in the front window...our CapoNord is parked on the showroom.....we're so ready for new bikes and new parts direct from Aprilia.
