    I did it!

Sold my Fazer last night, left work this morning with the intention of banking the money. I'll just pop into Infinity's, thinks I, to give that bike the once over.

Anyhoo, long story cut short, I'm now the proud owner of 1 Aprilia Tuono Factory, to be supplied with a 2 into 2 Ti Akrapovic system.

Ive told em to keep it until March 1st as I dont see me doing a lot of riding between now and then and thought I might as well wait for the new reg.

So, thats it, Ive got one! I'm off to see if I can wipe the smile off my face!

    Graham

p.s. if the wife comes on this site, dont tell her how much they cost!

    Thumbs up It's Spring again!

Excellent! That has to be one of the best feelings eh??!!?? The only thing you will regret is telling them to leave it until March! Come on, it's going to be 9 degrees tomorrow, the balmy weather is back!

    Enjoy!

    Nice! Good Work!

Alright! Good call! Although, after they get the pipes on there why don't you bring it into your livingroom so you can druel and stare and polish the thing.

I always get the feeling that to ride a Tuono you have to be a real man, prepared to fight it every step of the way, where as on the Triumph you can have an off day and not be left feeling inadequate"

Excellent choice Graham, it'll be a fast black one eh?. Where did you buy it from?........................ Paul.
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Once sorted, It is by far the best most fun bike I have ever owned (FactoryTuono). Just got back from the private airport where I ride wheelies to my content! It was about 65f! (17c)? Love the Pilot Powers in the turns.

    Congratulations and what will power!

I had to wait 6 weeks before I could ride mine, but that was out of my control, due to my insurance

At least I could walk to my local dealer from work and spend some time with her every lunch time (if I would have wanted to, as it goes, only saw her once a week !)

Enjoy & welcome to this forum!

Before you criticise or condemn a man you should first walk a mile in his shoes.

Because then you will be a mile away and you will have his shoes.

    I did it!

Thanks people, Im already starting to question my sanity in deciding to wait six weeks. But all things considered, its the right decision. Im massively busy at work and I'm a self confessed fair weather biker!
Ive got loads of questions to ask. Is there a FAQ section? Or should I just fire away?

    Cheers

    Graham
