    Female Tuono Owner.

Just bought a 03 Tuono in Magnet grey, after 3 years on a CBR600.
wanted the sit up riding positon, like my partners Fazer 1000, but love the look of the Italian Stallion.

Its fitted with Aprilia Titanium can and RSV chip, God is it loud, the neighbours thought their boiler had gone when we started it, not sure if its too loud and may look for another can. Blue flame looks good and will get the bike through MOT. From reading previous threads i assume i can keep this chip in with other after market cans.

Only bad bit on the bike is the laquer on the gold around the screen is peeling badly, can i buy decals to cover this ?

Deb, (Lifes a Bitch and now your behind one ) )

    Welcome aboard.....

i got a Carbon Can Co. slip on for mine - road legal, but can be made noiser..... plain stainless, great quality and quite loud.

had it dyno'd at www.southerncrossmotorcycles.co.uk and they thought it was the noisest legal can - it also breathes nicely - 116.7Bhp @ RW

it's very light, doesnt need a chip and only cost £200.

    good luck.... enjoy the ride....

    Wink

    Welcome to the darkside sister!

There are lots of choices when it comes to after market cans and chips for these bikes, just do a search for 'end can' and you will get lots of info. Here's a link: http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...market+exhaust
Collectively there is a lot of knowledge here, some of it to do with the Tuono , and people are always willing to be helpful and to take the piss!
With regard to the decals, the same thing started on my fast red one, so I peeled 'em all off and IMHO it looks much better without the rather naff gold decals.

So magnet grey is for girls then?!?

    Enjoy!

    Grey for girls ,

    Red for women ,

Black for MEN & SPEED !
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Hi Deb, if you want to keep that can , you can buy a db killer off ebay & get it fitted that would quieten it down a little.

    Red face Calm down dears!

Why do we have to go thru all this every time a female of the species comes along?

It's great to have you with us Deb's! I see from your personal info that you are in catering. Great! Mine's with 2 sugars, ta, and this office needs tidying when you've got a minute! LOL!

Point of information FTM: you have an 'h' in your signature line that I don't think you meant to be there! Personally I love the Welsh.
