ive had a scooter for ages and the only place ive found stock parts for good prices is ebay but if you want reliabity i would say using a good make after market might be the next best option or consider another scooter? can you get peugeot speedfighters where you live? there a good bike

wait a moment here.... are you talking about going 75 on a sr125?
if thats the case then yeah you should be going even faster though.

tonight i tuned in my carb a bit better (forum advice) and presto! Zuma go 57 on a flat straight away now

when i get my Aprilia RS50R factory diTECH (black) will see what i can do with that 1 should be a bit better but looks like more work-money
but i have to have 1. have you seen those 13' blue rims w/ bridgestone ML50 low profile tires and twin disc barakes!! and what about the on-board diagnostics and the front shock... the entire bike is a work of art!
i can go on and on but ill stop.. if you live in the usa try to get a used 02-05 zuma or get a 05-06 Aprillia RS50R factory diTECH the BEST most technical scooter ever and theyre only 3000 + shipping!!

Does anyone know how difficult it would be to turn a BWS 50cc to a BWS 100cc using all stock Yamaha parts?

Does anyone know more about the difference between the BWS50 and BWS100? If the frame is the same, I would like to bolt a BWS100 motor to my BWS50/Zuma. I can also get the BWS100 gauge.

I am still wondering as well....

In Canada there is not much choice for scooters. I have always wanted my 2004 BWS50 to have more power. Trust me, it runs reliably right now - I have gone from Toronto to Montreal and back with it and it has close to 20,000 km on the speedo.

What I would like to do, is put more power (not necessary alot) and get the same reliability. I have not seen moders post many threads about how reliable their mods are. I have seen many claims of really high power and lots of maintenance. I think that if a stock BWS100 engine can fit in the BWS50, I will achieve the power/reliability I desire.

The question is, can a BWS100 engine fit on a BWS50. If it can, how do I change it and what other parts will I need to replace? If not, why not?

Look at both bikes, I have to say the frame/chassis is the same. I can get complete brand new BWS100 motor (with cdi and exhaust) along with the gauge for the swap job from Taiwan. Just trying to find out if someone already done this to save the trouble on ordering all the stuff I needed for this swap job, and see if others are interested, so we can all save some from shipping.

I'll ask my friend to call Yamaha Taiwan to find out about the frame/chassis.

You say that the frame is the same? Do you have a BWS100 shop manual? Does the BWS50 have the correct bolt points for the 100cc engine?

(We might be the first people to try this)

Exclamation I got 60 mph from My BB Malaguti fully Stock (derestricted)

I got 60mph out of this bike fully stock 50cc, stock pipe, stock everything, only derestricted. I was tucked behind the windscreen wearing a helmut (aerodynamic) goin down a slight hill.

Check that speed with GPS and I'd bet it would only be about 50mph max.

nope, you're nowhere near 60mph with that stock setup, not even if it's derestricted.
