I dont think anyone has mentioned the aprilia sonic scooter which has a minirelli engine in a lc and ac version, mines the lc and i thought i'd mension it does 60mph without a slight hill and down hills it ive had it upto 75mph and its still a 50 with technigas and malossi variator

hahahahahahahahaha, posting numbers like that nobody is going to believe you encluding me. i know what a sonic is, it has the same motor as a jog but some come watercooled. jogs wont even go that fast with just the mods you are talking about and jogs are way lighter than sonics.

Many different brands of scooters share the water or air cooled minarelli motor found in the SR50, Scarabeo 50, Rally and Mojito. These include the Malaguti Scooters and Yamaha scooters. If we share what we know about the aprilia with other brand owners perhaps we can learn more about these fun bikes.

This seems to be a great news for me because it's being hard to buy a new crankshaft to my Aprilia Rally. But somebody told me that Yamaha Jog crankshaft is the same as the Aprilia Rally, what is in accordance with your post.
Is that correct?
Can I install the Jog cranckshaft in a Rally?

i would think that they are the same. if you go with a polini, malossi or anything other name brand crank they should have the info for you.

I dont need you to believe me thats what it does, it did do more but i had to replace the cylinder with an tnt original kit and it made it slower.

try coming into a scooter forum where guy mod bikes and givng out those numbers and see how much guys laugh at you. goin 75mph on a stock bike, you must be riding that thing down a rollercoaster.

lol, all you got is that toy pipe and your doin 75mph downhill. i need to get rid of my evo parts and go back stock and toy pipe like you then. that way i can go fast and save gas. thanks for the info.

i'm not saying my bike does 75 hell i wish it did, but i clocked 75 going down a big hill, maybe because there is no limit on my cdi, and i was really pushing it i'm suprised it didn't go pop..... haha it does now....

In north america, Yamaha sell the BWS or Zuma. The Yamaha BWS50 (50cc) is sold in other countries with the option to get it in 100cc version. The frame of the bikes look identical (they are) the only difference is the 100cc engine vs the 50cc engine. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to turn a BWS 50cc to a BWS 100cc using all stock Yamaha parts?

They are only sold in Mexico and I live in Canada. I want the stock parts not for performance but for reliability.
