You are going to like it lot more when you get a chance to have a proper ride on it in decent weather, very clean bike.

Hey guys. Im from Sydney, Australia. Picked up my RSV last week. Its my first Aprilia. Im coming off a Suzuki Hayabusa, so it doesnt have the power of that bike, but its so much more fun to ride.

Had a small low side this weekend turn 4 at Palm Beach International Raceway but managed to put it on top of the box twice.

Sucks about the low side, it doesn't look too bad though. That's awesome that you took home two wins!! I've been wondering if there's anyone racing the RSVRs out there. Some of the club racers I got the idea from that it is not that competitive of a bike these days, or it has trouble fitting into a particular class. Nicely done.

It’s going to be hard to replace that exhaust, I think. Or very expensive. It fits in the formula twins class where I race and really is a cheater bike. I believe CCS also has a class where the RSV and 916 fit into.

Likely both expensive and hard to find, but they have popped up on the forum the past few years from time to time.

Though it is a race bike after all, suppose if I were to turn my RSVR all track as I have been thinking and that happened without any hole worn through I'd just be cleaning it up, buffing it and ready for the next race.

That’s what I’ll end up doing. Looks like AF1 was a muffler in stock (about $800) but not the link pipe. So for that money it’ll stay.

They're not rocket science, so you could find a quality automotive exhaust shop in your area and have them fabricate one. Been there, done that more than once. Or contact Akraprovic USA and see if they can supply one.

Just went through the same issue myself but on the righthand side. Those early Evo6 cans and the later ones with carbon endcaps are not available anymore, but you can get re-skin kits. I had an exhaust guy knock the dents out of the can base where it was damaged and will turn it inwards when I rebuild it. Not perfect but totally functional. Also the Akro slip ons with 65mm inlets will work with the Evo6 but your looking at $2k +

Hi Jess67, there's you lot talking about getting these cans fixed and how rare they are, and you got an idiot doing this to an Evo 6 system on the Aprilia factory Facebook group, it's a criminal to say the least and there were two of them
