Who told you that TZR's fall apart? Never heard that one before Never had a single problem with mine, its all down to personal preference on the looks, I prefer the TZR because I think the styling is more aggresive, but hey who cares, Im sure the bikes are equally as good as each other overall. One thing I liked about the TZR is that its pretty rare, never saw another one on the road, yamaha only sold 400 or so before they discontinued it

theres no way a TZR tuned can beat a RS50 with exactly the same specs.
RS50s are also being used for world record attempts.
the fastest STOCK 50cc is a Aprilia RS50 at El Mirage at 75,952 milles an hour over 1,3 mile track and the world record for an 50cc is 95.808 milles an hour also for an RS50 set this year at El Mirage.

which is why they are alot more expensive that RS50's. I looked into getting a TZR when I was looking for a bike, but found that RS50's are alot cheaper.

Yes a tzr will probably be beaten by an rs with the same mods, it is heavier, but then it does come down to rider skill, who says the race wont be on a twisty road? They arent that far apart really, they're pretty even, and no they dont fall apart. And they are discontinued in england, but not anywhere else

yes because aprilia is so much better than yamaha isn't it.

and yamaha are known for falling to pieces aren't they.

    what a load of bollocks.

my mate had an rs50, didn't like it so he got a derbi gpr 50, he likes that and he said he wouldn't swap it for any other 50 apart from the tzr.

*edit* i'm not trying to cause an argument here, i'm just saying that saying yamaha bikes falling to pieces is bullshit, jap bikes are known for being the most reliable in the world.

i'm also not saying the rs50 is slow, and can't beat other 50's because i know it can. but i know people who have said it isn't the fastest stock 50, this is from their experience.

Sorry Rasmus, meant to say they are discontinued in the UK, I sent an email to yamaha a while back asking why the TZR had been taken off the site and they said it was because they were no longer selling it in the UK. Why o why do people always try to turn it in to an arguement, this was one of the main reasons I left this site last year.

wasnt trying to start an argument !!

Just provided u whit some info, as u didnt mention that u where talking about uk marked only !! Mayby they only sold 400 in the uk, and then it makes sence to take it off the uk-marked.

    no offence ment :-)
