Picked up an 04 Factory recently and had them update the ecu software before it first left the dealer. The engine idles fine and doesn't stall.
Just had the 600 mile service done and the tech said the throttle sync was dead on. Now it seems that the engine runs rough (almost like a misfire) under a load between 2500 -3500 rpm which is freeway speed range in 6th. If I drop it one or two gears and get over 4000 rpm it feels fine. If I want to run 75 -80 plus when I am on the freeway it runs great - there just are a few spots where that is not a good idea![]()
So the question is - am I just lugging the engine at the lower rpm or....?
Thanks,
Bill
