    Us Aprilia Owners Weekend!!!

We need to find a central location, a town to raid, and make a weekend meet all our own! Like our own Daytona, Sturgis, or Ducati World Weekend.

    MID-SPRING 06

Midnight Dragon Slayers Yep I'll stay a squid as long as I can pass those posh posers at the gap with their pretty lil leathers, camel backs, and, sweaty selves. All the while telling me how asphalt feels when they've never been down on anything other than some skanky bird. I wish the whole touchy feely lot of tossers would take a flying leap out the back of Fred Gassit's furry arse!

It's not central, so wouldn't only be for east coasters, but what about a rally in Suches, GA at TWO next March? I've been seriously considering planning one...

    P.S. Nice pic.

I thought this thread would blow up...or do we just not have a lot of Aprilia supporters for an event like this?

    Two things:
1.) Geography (too far to get everyone), and
2.) I'll bet most people don't visit this part of the forum often. Today was first time.

Mike, there is a third reason - many people have this guy on their ignore list*.....

*Although he has gotten much better, he came straight out of the gate quite the prat and turned off a number of people.

I have often thought of Southeastern Aprilia Rally at Suches. There are quite a few of us around the southeast. If you are interested maybe we could put something together.

This is funny. I was just thinking of a gathering in NYC for over the winter. Meet at a bar or something. Maybe we could find a common date, but do it at several different cities, then compare stories, pics, etc.

Of course, I'm up for the spring thing too, NE works best for me.

Ah, I haven't been around for a while. But I'll give him a chance as he wasn't yet a prat to me...

I'm very interested. I was discussing it with msbRSV at WERA GNR on Friday and have been thinking about it for almost a year. My dad goes to a Honda Hawk rally there every year (except this year; it was someone else, not so good) and I have gone with him for the past several four years. It really bonds everyone on the Hawk list together, and I think it could do the same for Aprilia Forum members.

Having parrallel dates will be cool, but it will limit the number of people that will go to any one place. FYI, I've been told by the Hawk riders from the NE they come down to Suches because we've got the best roads within 100 miles of anywhere this side of the Mississippi except maybe West Virginia.

OTOH, it might be cool to start planning a few rallies around the country at 2 or 3 locations and space them out about 4 months...

Give us a break! Take a look at the Aprilia Owner Rides, Trackdays, Meetings, and Events forum; almost every post is about out west!

Ah, Sorry. Then come down south where we don't have freeze cracks in the pavement!
