    Hepco

    Indeed, they are.
A very good choice, because the first days I got the Capo I managed to have it lying down twice.... Both times stopped, just hadn't get used to its weight. Thanks god for the bars, the bike is fine -the bars have a little scratch on the right side.

The pic above wouldn't happen to be on Grizzly Peak in Berkeley by any chance, taken from The Wall, would it?

I know it seems stupid to think you can recognize a location from such a pic, but it just jumped out at me when I saw it...

DrThunder, man you are good!, almost
The pic has been taken on the Tail of the Dragon in Smokey Mountains. Move your finger about 2500 miles to the east and you are there

    My New Caponord

Picked it up this morning and had a nice ride in the Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland (in the norh of England).

Apart from the seat and mirrors (easily modified/changed), it's a great bike

Aregata mounting points for front of crash bars?

Did i read that they are touratech stuff i would like to see how they mount. How solid are they? This is the only draw back with the capos perimiter beam frame; it isnt utiliterian in that you cant just mount stuff on it like you can with an old tube type frame. Still it does give greater stability than the old thing. But being an old fart one does like to hang usefull stuff on so as to make life on the road a little more comfy, and it is hard to find mounting points on this bike.

    Hard seat?

I find the seat good on a long trip. Robyn and I comonly do 5-600 ks a day and find the firmness good. Robyn especialy finds the capo more comfy that any other bike we have had so far. We find it great in Australian conditions for the wide mix of road we have. I dont understand why this style of bike is not a much better seller in this country. I have owned this bike about 6 week now and have not seen another one out there yet, though BMW GSs are common as backsides out there. This style of bike is always writen up in reviews a " ideal for our roads" but on Aprilia test ride day when i fell in love with the capo and chose it over a GS 1150, it was the bike that had time slots for test rides going begging.
