Race Prep

[RS250 Chesterfield]

I'm thinking about going to a local track day!! I'll be bringing a 95 RS250. The previous owner had it prepped already with safety wires and the bit. I just need to make sure everything is bolted down and to remove the mirrors and cover the lights. Now I was also told by someone that I am not allowed to have antifreeze in the radiator fluid. If this is the case, I assume I'm using just straight water. Is this so...any other precautions or prep work that I need to do?

Some organizations allow Water Wetter or sim-
ilar coolant additives but never antifreeze! Straight water is always OK, just don't let a
freeze overnight surprise ya! Get tire press-
ure recommendations, bring plenty of stuff to
eat and water or power drinks. A couple GOOD
nights of sleep beforehand helps too, I never
rode well with a hangover. Or hungry!
