Question Spark Plug type for 2006 SR50 Ditech

    Hi all!!
Recently purchased a brand new 2006 SR50 Factory Ditech (injected). The spark plug that is installed in this scooter is a NGK-R ZMR7AP .
I however would like to replace the current plug with an Iridium type from either Denso or NGK.
Have not been able to find any specs on the currently installed plug, NGK was of no help, said it was "to new of a plug to cross reference". Imagine that.
The Use+Maintenance book that came with the scoot specifies that the standard plug for the IE 50 is a NGK-R CPR8E and as an alternative NGK-R ZMR7AP (recommended) / CR8EKB / CR7EKB.
What's the deal here? What is the correct plug I should be using? Why do I have the NGK-R ZMR7AP installed?
Can I use either the CR8EKB or CR7EKB???
Is the spark plug gap 0.035" (0.9 mm) correct???
Any info would be of great help!!!

    Thanx!!!

    Hi..
the alternative for NGK CR8E from denso is IU24 or the racing plug IU01-24

If I'm not mistaken, the NGK ZMR7AP has a center electode that is Iridium. It is a very thin wire. It came stock on my '06 too and appears to work great.
