And get a load of this nut job, at 130 mph I too often feel it is a kodak moment. There are probably people still coming to on the sides of the roads you traveled wondering what the hell was that thing that sounded like armageddon had arrived and was taking pictures of it.

The Falco seems to be a near perfect V-twin platform to go somewhere else from, be it touring or tuning.

I'll stick some pics up after the weekend hopefully.

This bike is so stable at speed, I had no worries about taking a picture at that speed. I was on a Interstate in the middle of Wyoming, no one around except my buddy on his bike. Long, straight and flat. Camera in the tank bag so I can take it out one handed and it is a easy to use camera with one hand.

Now if we were in the mountains, no pictures would have been taken. I should post up my pics of the Arch in St. Louis I took as we rolled thru. I missed my exit while I was snapping pictures!

Yes, a turbo is quite feasible...there are guys down in Puerto Rico doing loads of them on single cylinder ATV engines with great success even in the lower rev ranges.

I have been thinking about doing a forced induction Aprilia for a long time and have decided it is both feasible and not too hard really. My basic plan if I were to proceed from here would be light boost/high (stock) compression ratio for lightning fast spool up. That is the reason I speced out the turbo in the post the post above the way I did although a GT24 size with ceramic bearings may be better all around or even RH10B sized blower.

I would be shooting for the peak of 6 psi boost to be available form as low as 4,000 rpm and carry out to about 5-6 psi boost as high as 9,500 rpm. I do not think it would really be a time bomb. People have blown up a lot of V990 motors in the quest for more power but they are going about it in the wrong way I think. Forced induction does not require really high rpm to make power and torque....think of a Falco/Mille/Tuono/RST with close to 100 ft lbs of torque...now that would be a lot of fun.

To my Dutch brother....I love the 04' RSVR swingarm on your bike...looks quite proper.
