    cant understand it!

fitted powervalve today, went out 2 test it and there was hardly any difference (if any it was slower!) so when i got back i left it plugged in and fitted the original plate with the fixed spade. started the bike up with my dad holding the powervalve and hoped that the powervalve would move when i reved it but got nothing, no movement at all. So heres me thinking ive bought a dud, so i wired it up to a battery and and everytime i made the connection the spade moved in, like i think its supposed to.

So why wont it work in my bike, its like there was no power being sent to it, ive cleaned it up everything is moving freely?? can someone please help as its really pissing me off!! thanks, wayne.

There should be a rave unit, which is why your powervalve doesn't work. There are about £100 from aprilia or look on ebay.

Just plugs into the loom. If its a new shape bike it goes above the tail light so the rear seat needs to come off to fit it. There'll be a loose connector under the seat.

Thats what he just fitted, the rave unit is under the pillion seat not on the side of the frame.
