the UK SV racer, going by todays exchange rate
    that UK SV racer - £12,000 = $21,000 ?!?!?

you could buy Factory and have change left over...
I think that if you want to get a tricked out SV (forks, shocks, etc) you'd be better off buying a bike closer to track ready.....???
I'd go with the RC51....in fact that's a pretty good idea, hmmm...

I'd love to except, 1) They don't exist in the States yet, and 2) I can't buy a bike that the other shop in town sells.

Gee, too bad my daddy won't buy me the other shop in town.

I have raced against SV1000's and they are a major POS, why not look for an older RSV-R? they are going cheap nowdays and dont have the '04 problems' you speak of

'Cause he's my bitch and does what I tell him to do.

Now if I can get an Aprilia franchise and the '06 doesn't have any quirks.......

Hey Aaron, wanna come live in Palm Springs? I guarantee you won't have to shovel any more snow.

    Older Aprilia

    What Aaron said.

If you're a good fit ergonomically on an earlier RSV then that's the way to go.

It will restore your faith in this brand!

Clarkie - when will you start teasing us about what the 2006 Mille redesign will include?
