About the rain for the rear fender, I Run with Totaly No fender (removed the one for the plate, AND removed the one on the wheel (i like the sport bike look)) I ride in the rain sometimes yes, all it does is that if I happen to have a passenger, he'll get his back dirty, that's it haha
About the Filter, He's taling about the AirBox, He wants you to put a pod filter, also called a p-flow in some place.

Oh! i thought he mean the hood in front of the vario hahaha... about the filter i have already seen a picture with a good result @ ditech.
i think this is very better than the p-flow direct at the throttle valve.. because ditech is very sensitive with the ECU and air changes.

More air is most of the time not needed at 50cc, you already have plenty to play with.
