I've taken my stock can apart and found that all the baffle packing has had it what can you use as an alternative I was told it was possible to use loft insulation is it true or would it ignite?

Did you have to cut the can open? I got the baffle stuff from a scrambler / dirt bike (whateve you want to call it) place, apparently they need replacing quite regularly on those kind of bikes. I too though about loft insulation,the baffle is similar but it's more tightly knit and compact than the stuff used in lofts. Possible more heat resistant as well.
