    Baby Bling

I just got back from Steve's Wholesale Tools with my helicoil kit to do the front rotor bolt I over torqued. Before I took off the front wheel to work on it, I thought I would post a few pics of some "baby blingers" I've been working on for the past few days.

    Gaucho Replica?

From the pictures it could be a Sebastian Porto 250 Aprilia lookalike! Surely Carlos will approve...

    Faux Carbon Fiber

I browsed ebay for the front fender and rear hugger. The rear hugger decal kit comes from Chris Kruzel over on the '04 Factory site. kruzel@drippinwet.com

The steering damper was a piece of cake. It came with the proper screw and bushing. I really like it. Should have everything buttoned up tonight, and I'll take her out tomorrow for her maiden voyage (or pop her cherry for Carlos)

It's made by Avery and as you learn to work with it it gets easier and easier to do a quality job. I think it looks trick. We'll see how it stands up to the weather. It is thin and somewhat stretchable, so you can generally get it to lay down where you wnat it.

She pretty much just found out. She knew I was buying a few odds and ends for the bike, but just din't know exactly how much. She was going over the bank statements just prior to Tax Day, and she questioned me about a few things. She wasn't real happy, but how many women understand Falco ownership? She did buy me a Father's Day present, yesterday. A Craftsman tool chest. I'm going to start a new thread I've been thinking about, and I'll post a pic.
