Will the 170cc kit overstress the Scarabeo 150 engine?

I keep thinking about installing the 170cc performance kit on the Scarabeo 150. The stock engine, though, is a tough little bugger from what I've read and also experienced over the 5300 miles I've ridden this summer. I'm afraid that installing the performance parts, maybe even the hotter cam, will degrade the reliability of the machine, at least its longevity. Should I be worrying about this? My gut feeling is that I should.

    performance mod on 150

If you install the larger piston kit, you're just increasing the displacement. If you install the hotter cam, now you're adding more stress.

Plus, what about the rest of the drive line -belts, varators, clutch..

Will you have to upgrade them as well? Make sure the Pollini or Malossi kit comes with EVERYTHING neccessary to make a complete upgrade.
