Race Piaggio NRG 50 parts off for weight reduction

Hi I am lightening my ped as it will be used off road.

So far I have removed all:
    panels
    Lights
    clocks
wires that are not needed (need to connect the watercooling back up What does the wire do that goes to the carb is this needed??)
Are any other wires need to be left? Obviously the spark plug ht lead is still connected
The exhaust I have got on does not have a pipe for the catylettic converter so I removed the converter box anxd there is a pipe coming from the engine do i need to leave it open or clamp it??
Is the wire that goes to the oil tank needed??
    anything else I have forgotton??

    All help greatly appreciated!!

I reckon I can knock 15 kilos off the standard weight lol.

Oh yeah ps it is kick start only the elecy start has been removed aswell as that erm regulator?

    This is an APRILIA forum.

So unless this post shows any signs of good info, this one will be deleted.

There's tons of forums who can answer that, but this is not a General Scooter forum, but Aprilia specific.

There's TONS of weight you can remove. Frame parts, CNC machine the wheels (remove some alloy) etc.

It just want to get it so light that it will wheelie etc.

And need some information on what parts of the wiring loom to keep!

I dont think the watercoled is working at the moment.

Take a shit before you race

Even proper race scooters don't remove the panels for fucks sake, you'll loose more speed from aerodynamics without panels than weight with panels.

    You even tuned it properly?

this is a bit unforgiving isnt it?
Today when people talk of "living through hell", it usually means that their appeal against unfair dismissal has been delayed, or the builders next door have been very noisy for several weeks. For the millions of soldiers in the trenches of the First World War, their experiences of Hell on Earth were beyond anything those of us born into Britain's most blessed generation can possibly imagine.

I did not say I was going to race it but how you save weight!

    I am making a wheelie/offroad project.

And it is starting to wheelie good.

And it fucking breezes up hills now whereas before it would stop and start spinning the back wheel offroad.
