My standard exhaust is in very good condition (none of the usual bad rusting), but I'd like it to be a bit noisier and, probably flow easier, maybe combined with a K&N filter. Has anyone had any experience with modifying the standard exhaust?
I know you drill out the two rivets on the end piece to get access to the inarrds, but would like to know a bit more about what happens next, and what faces me before taking this step.
I presume you need to cut some of the baffles or remove some of the packing. Just how hard is this though?
I know this will effect the fuel mixture a bit, but I think it shouldn't be enough to have to start re jetting.
