gas tank

I'm trying to put my gas tank back on and the front bolt will not go in... i got the back part in but the front bolt is impossible to get in... any idea???? Also i have about half a tank of gas in there so do you think that could be it? thanks

They are a biatch some times. You may need to move the clip nut slightly to make it happen. I know it is frustrating but do not loose hope, it will fit.

push it over to the side a lil and turn the allen bolt, or push the allen bolt all the way thrugh in lower it down you should feel it hit the centre of the bolt/...

Ok i got it. What i did was held it up some while i screwed it in and slowly let it down while i screwed it in.. worked great... thanks for the help!
