    Cut down powervalve

Is there any advantage of fitting a blanking plate with a cut down valve instead of working powervalve or is it just people derestricting bikes cheap?

I also did it, basically you will gain no more power at all, you will lose all your bottom and mid range power but when you hit 8k revs it takes off like a twat! My advice would be to leave the pv the way it is, with a blanking plate it is much harder to use in town riding and what not, plus you have to slip the clutch a lot more than normal!

i wouldnt say goes like crazy, afterall its only a 30ish bhp bike, if your riding properly it should be at them rpm's all the time and not drop down below and out the power really.

useful if its a racebike because its less weight to carry.

to try it unplug the power to the solenoid and then using a cable tie hold the solenoid in with the cable tie so the PV blade is open all the time.
Pulling off is very hard and forget doing hill starts bike is very groogy till you hit 8000rpm and the front wheel will feel like it gonna lift up
If your pv is working dont bother.
