Centre fuse blowing repeatedly and dash dies....suggestions for fault finding please

Just getting around to looking at this....a few weeks a go I went out on the bike and got around five miles away then noticed the dash had gone blank, all dead including the instruments. I stopped the engine and then re started no problem, but still no dash.....got home and found the centre fuse under the instruments had gone...replaced it and all seemed well....went out and it blew again within 100yds...…
Has anybody else experienced this ?

Finn had a similar issue on the last Capo Clan trip, left him stranded on Arran - He has got the bike home and found one of the wires near the battery had rubbed through and was short circuiting.

Check the mess of wires behind the windshield, that's where mine was.

I am with Raven. All of my shorted wires have been behind the windshield.

I had the same trouble with the Dashboard and find out that the "Massekabel" under the tank in the area of the engine was broken.

but I didn´t had trouble with the fuse the only problem was a dead dashboard
Take a look at the cabling from front to back.
