    2007 mojito front brake question

I got a 2007 mojito, 20k on the clock, bought it from a sort of friend well the front brake caliper locked up and was leaking a little too. I took it apart broke free the stuck piston, cleaned it up and now it wonít pump up at all and Iím stumped. Not a lot of options for direct replacement front caliper is there a list of of scoots that use the same caliper or perhaps a replace the whole thing with something better?

buy a repair kit and repšlace the membranes inside
alternative is to replace the whole caliper if its in bad shape

Did you bled the air when you put the system back together?

best to rebuild the master and replace the seals in the slave. then start over with dot5.1 fluid because it is high quality. not the dot 5.0

polish the piston and piston liner in the slave too. after all that you will be so happy that a polish and dot 5.1 will be your first choice. take a look at the pads/rotor/hose while your there.

I took it apart and polished everything up, ordering new pads but one side was sticking and I can’t figure out why it was leaking either. where can one obtain new seals for this thing? Ill have to get a vacuum bleeder for it, normal bleeding wasn’t working great, I was using DOT 4, go with 5.1? Also last question, which way/how do I put that spring back in? Might sound like a stupid question but it popped out when I took it apart and it doesn’t have a obvious orientation
