Strange starting problem Scarabeo 250 GT

    Greetings from Poland!
I am facing a strange problem with starting my Scarabeo. About 3 weeks ago suddenly Beo refused to start. I have noticed also that turning lights stop working as well. I tried to disconned and connect several connectors in wiring and it helped. I do not know why, but everything started to work perfecly until today.
Unfortunatelly it all started all over again. No turning lights and it won't start. I have checked all the connection and used the spray for better conductivity, all fuses also are OK. I can't find the indicator relay, but I do not think it has anything to do with this mulfunction.
What do you think it might be a reason?

Do your brake lights work? Are you also trying to start using the brake lever that you don't normally use for start? The same switch (located in the brake lever assembly) that turns on your brake lights also allows the start relay to engage. Also move the emergency cutoff on your handlebar on and off several times. If you scooter sits outside in the rain, the contacts could be corroded.

If that's not the problem, try jumping your start relay and report back.

    Thaks for help!
It turn out that the CDI unit is also responsible for turning lights and there was a problem in the connector's plug.
I checked that all wires in the plug are properly connected and it worked!
    So problem solved!

Great that you found the issue however be sure to determine if there is a sealing ring on the connector that needs to be cleaned up or possibly replaced. If you do not clean the sealing area of the plug and replace the electrical connection grease (dielectric grease) being sure to also coat the sealing are then you will be more likely to be seeing a repeat of this issue some time in the future.
