    Moving on

I have my 2015 DD for sale in the appropriate forum. I have bought an old 2005 multisrada 1000 DS to replace the DD and my 2001 VFR. Down sizing and trying something different at the same time. Cheers to all. I think I'll still hang around.

    Hey Max

Please let us know how you get on with the Multi. I had a 2004 DS1000 Multi but traded it for a Shiver. Loved the midrange, especially after a new can, and the looks (though its not for everyone), but disliked the maintenance. I thought that the Shiver had better suspension for our poorly surfaced backroads. But the Multi made me grin every time I rode it!

    Okay, update.
The multi S 1000 DS has far better suspension than my 750 cc DD, even with an upgraded shock. The Multi handles so much better, you know it's just that much easier to ride. Thankyou Ohlins . The torque and the horsepower increase due to the cc's and mapping mod on the bike alone make it easier to ride.
The Ducati is noisier and more vibration prone in my opinion.
IMHO if you can afford the Ducati do it but the Aprilia 750 cc will be close and quieter, depending....

    Hi Max
Glad you are enjoying the Multi - I certainly appreciated the grunt! Must be that the Ohlins on the "S" version make a difference as the suspension on my non-S version, although multi-adjustable, was nothing to write home about.
PM me your email and I can give you a heads-up about my experience with maintenance I found out about after a year of ownership.
    Enjoy!
