Today Is the First Day of a Massive Brembo Brake Recall

    https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/rec...-brake-recall/

"Today’s recall deals only with Aprilia models fitted with the Brembo kit, which means that it affects the 2016-2017 Aprilia RSV4 lineup and 2017 Aprilia Tuono 1100 models.

"According to documents filed National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), about 1% of the 1,800 affected Aprilia units are expected to show cracking of the master cylinder piston."

Here's the thread in the Tuono sub-forum: http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...7-Tuono-recall

And the thread in the RSV4 sub: http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...-That-May-Fail

Both have the website link to enter your VIN and check if your bike is affected. Be sure to use capital letters.

What’s going to suck is all these garage queen bikes will want to clog up the recall line, whereas I racked up 16,500 mi last yr and know 2 other guys who ride their monsters as much

    Are you on a Tuono?

Also, must be nice to live where the weather cooperates most of the year.

15 degrees with ice and snow where I'm at currently.

Hard not to have a garage queen under those circumstances.
