Rider Weather Protection Suggestions 2005 (late) RSV1000R Tuono

I am 70 years of age and own and love my black and red, late 2005 RSV1000R Tuono. I ride in the west of Ireland mainly (where it rains incessantly), and sorely miss the weather protection provided by my last bike - a 1500cc, 6 cylinder Honda Valkyrie. I'm thinking of fitting a double bubble screen to the existing nose fairing for head/chest protection but am at a loss as to where to acquire suitable leg and knee weather protection. Must I attempt to acquire a racing fairing or are compatible leg protection side panels available ? If so, where ? I have searched online without any success. In so doing I have discovered that specifying precisely what I want is going to be difficult - the parts referred to as "fairings" by Aprillia parts providers are often merely covers for various portions of the engine and chassis. My concept of fairing relates to rider weather protection and machine/rider aerodynamic streamlining. Can anybody help ?

Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Gore Tex for Tifa, garage for PIEHEAD.

You could try a Skirtex if you don't mind looking foolish! http://www.skirtex.fr/motorcycle-lap...or-drivers.htm I've seen similar fitted to big bikes in France and they work.

To be honest, if you're looking for decent weather protection, you've bought the wrong bike.
Apart from double bubbles I've never seen anyone fit a lower fairing to a Tuono.
On the other hand, a few people have converted the fully faired Milles with Tuono handlebars.

    Would a Mille fairing fit to a late 2005 RSV1000R Tuono ?

it would, but it wont offer any protection to the degree that the OP is looking for.

You would have to make your own lower fairings to get any protection on that bike. There just is no market for that kind of part for the Tuono.

Don't think you can get what your looking for on a tuono, goretex gear as one of the other lads said . But fair play to you for flying around on a tuono at 70, there are much more easier bikes out there to ride, but not the same fun, hope I'm still nipping around on my tuono when I'm 70.

I love my Tuono & I'll be 70 this year! I also bought a 2015 EBR1190SX in 2017 at a great price! But I will never get rid of my 03 Tuono which I've had since new! Serial# 00004. Some of us just never grow up!! Thank God!!!
